Zusammenfassung:	Composite pane, in particular a laminated side pane for a side window of a vehicle. The composite pane includes an outer pane and an inner pane that are bonded to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has, at least in some sections, a cutback relative to a pane edge, and at least one light-diffusing optical fiber. The optical fiber is at least partially arranged in the region of the cutback, between the outer pane and the inner pane.
