Zusammenfassung:	A display device includes a first substrate, a first electrode on a first surface of the first substrate, a first polarizing plate on a second surface of the first substrate which faces the first surface, a liquid crystal layer on the first electrode, a second polarizing plate on the liquid crystal layer, a color conversion layer on the second polarizing plate, the color conversion layer including a plurality of color conversion portions, and a second substrate on the color conversion layer. The first polarizing plate includes a first polarizer, a phase compensation layer and a second polarizer which are sequentially disposed, and an absorption axis of the first polarizer and an absorption axis of the second polarizer are parallel to each other.
