Zusammenfassung:	A method for providing a machine operator with an augmented reality view of an environment includes determining a location and orientation of a vehicle. An eye position and gaze of an operator of the vehicle are also determined. Job information to be displayed to the operator of the vehicle is determined based on the location of the vehicle and the orientation of the vehicle. The job information is displayed to the operator based on the eye position and gaze of the operator of the vehicle. In one embodiment, environmental features that can be seen through the windscreen are determined. The job information displayed to the operator is modified based on the environmental features.
