Zusammenfassung:	The hose rubber composition of this disclosure comprises a rubber component, a carbon black and a plasticizer component, wherein: a chloroprene rubber is contained at an amount of 60 parts by mass or more in 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; the carbon black is compounded at an amount of more than 50 parts by mass in 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; and the plasticizer component contains a flame retardant plasticizer, the flame retardant plasticizer being compounded at an amount of 2 parts by mass or more in 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
