Zusammenfassung:	A method for soliciting and creating collaborative content items is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a user device of a first user, a request to contribute a content item for a personalized message to a second user, the personalized message for an event unique to the second user, wherein the first user is selected to receive the request to contribute the content item based on an affinity score between the first user and the second user, presenting the request to contribute the content item, receiving input from the first user identifying the content item to contribute for the personalized message to the second user, and causing the content item to be added to a collaborative content product generated for the second user, the collaborative content product comprising other content items of other users of the social network.
