Zusammenfassung:A projection apparatus comprises a projection control unit which controls a projection unit to project at least one of visible light and invisible light, and a control unit which controls a projection state of the projection unit. If the state at the time of shutdown of the apparatus is a state in which the visible light is projected, the control unit controls to set the state in which the visible light is projected at a start of next activation, and if the state at the time of shutdown of the apparatus is a state in which only the invisible light is projected, the control unit controls to set a projection state including at least the visible light at the start of next activation.
