PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in the occupancy area of an image formation apparatus due to opening of an opening/closing member in comparison to such a configuration that image recording is performed during conveyance of a medium from the upper side to the lower side, and the periphery of a recording unit can be opened by opening the opening/closing member that is provided on the side surface of the image formation apparatus to the outer side with rotation.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus U includes: delivery units Rp, Rs which deliver sheets from the upper end of a storage part TR1; a recording unit Ua which is arranged on the upper part of a body U1 of the image formation apparatus and records an image on a sheet S; a discharge unit TRh which is arranged on the lower side in the gravity direction with respect to the recording unit Ua and to which the sheet S recorded with the image by the recording unit Ua is discharged; and an opening/closing member 1 which is supported to the upper part of the body U1 of the image formation apparatus and opens/closes the upper part of the body U1 of the image formation apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
