The method including controlling, via a controller, a movable component of the industrial machine based on a first signal received from an operator control and controlling, via the controller, the movable component of the industrial machine according to an autonomous operation in response to a second signal. The method further including adjusting the autonomous operation to generate an adjusted autonomous operation in response to receiving a third signal from the operator control and controlling, via the controller, the movable component of the industrial machine according to the adjusted autonomous operation in response to receiving a fourth signal.
