Zusammenfassung:	To reduce an error of a phase difference between an angle of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and an angle of a rotor of a motor generator, provided are a control device for a hybrid vehicle and a control method for a hybrid vehicle, for detecting the angle of the crankshaft, detecting the angle of the rotor of the motor generator, determining whether or not a condition for ensuring that the error of the phase difference between the angle of the crankshaft and the angle of the rotor of the motor generator is becomes small is satisfied, and calculating the phase difference when the error of the phase difference is determined to be small.
