The nebulizer tubing comprises a port configured to be covered during inhalation to allow airflow from the gas source to the nebulizer and uncovered during exhalation to stop the airflow from the gas source to the nebulizer by allowing gas to escape from the nebulizer tubing. The airflow activates a nebulization process.
