The method includes: receiving an identifier regarding the external device and an identifier regarding a user input that is input to the external device, from the external device; transmitting the identifier regarding the external device and the identifier regarding the user input to a server; receiving content about the external device and the user input from the server, based on the identifier regarding the external device and the identifier regarding the user input; and displaying the received content on a screen.
