Zusammenfassung:	A tamper-evident syringe tip cap is provided and includes an outer housing with an outer shell, and a tip cover secured to an upper end of the outer shell. An inner core has a female Luer lock fitting, a spindle projecting vertically from the fitting, and a sleeve matingly engaging the spindle and being constructed and arranged for releasably securing the outer housing to the inner core. The outer housing is movable relative to the inner core between a first, pre-activated position and a second, activated position.
