Zusammenfassung:	A notification based on a destination of a file operation is provided. A file management service initiates operations to provide the move notification upon detecting the move operation to move the file from a source location to a destination location. A stakeholder is identified with an access to the destination location prior to executing the move operation to move the file from the source location to the destination location. After executing the move operation, a move notification is generated to inform the stakeholder of the move operation. The move notification provides information such as a description of the file, the source location, the destination location, and/or an identification of an initiator of the move operation. Furthermore, the move notification is transmitted to the stakeholder.
