Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to [1] a plasticizer for a halogen-based resin including a condensate obtainable by an esterification reaction between a furan dicarboxylic acid compound and an aliphatic alcohol having 4 to 22 carbon atoms, in which the aliphatic alcohol includes a saturated aliphatic alcohol and an unsaturated aliphatic alcohol, and a content of the unsaturated aliphatic alcohol in the aliphatic alcohol is not more than 25% by mass; and [2] a halogen-based resin composition including the aforementioned plasticizer. The plasticizer has a plasticization performance for a halogen-based resin at a level identical to or higher than that of a phthalate-based plasticizer, and exhibits excellent effects of improving compatibility, heat resistance and cold resistance.
