Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a clothing for processing textile fibers, with a clothing carrier (1) and clothing tips (2), with the clothing tips (2) being formed by wire hooks (4). The wire hooks (4) are pushed through the clothing carrier (1) in a punching process. The clothing carrier (1) is a random, paneled nonwoven formed from continuous fibers or staple fibers (10) that has been consolidated by needling and impregnated with a polymer (11) having a defined specific weight per unit area and a functional layer (12) applied to a side of the clothing carrier (1) facing toward the clothing tips (2). The polymer (1) has a proportion by weight of 20 to 70 percent of the specific weight per unit area of the random nonwoven.
