In one form, the alloy comprises about 4.5 wt % to about 5.5 wt % aluminum, about 3.0 wt % to about 5.0 wt % vanadium, about 0.3 wt % to about 1.8 wt % molybdenum, about 0.2 wt % to about 1.2 wt % iron, about 0.12 wt % to about 0.25 wt % oxygen, about 0.10 wt % to about 0.40 wt % silicon, with the balance titanium and incidental impurities, with each being less than about 0.1 wt % and about 0.5 wt %, respectively, in total. |
