This invention also provides laquinimod or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for use in treating a subject afflicted with active lupus nephritis. This invention further provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising an amount of laquinimod or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for use in treating a subject afflicted with active lupus nephritis.
