Zusammenfassung:[Problem] To provide an organic electroluminescent element having high efficiency, low driving voltage and long service life by combining, as materials for an organic electroluminescent element having high efficiency and high durability, various materials for organic electroluminescent elements having excellent injection/transport performance for holes or electrons, excellent electron blocking ability, or excellent stability and durability in a thin film state in such a manner that the characteristics of each material can be effectively exerted. [Solution] An organic electroluminescent element which comprises at least a positive electrode, a hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, an electron transport layer and a negative electrode in this order, and which is characterized in that the hole transport layer contains an arylamine compound represented by general formula (1) and the light emitting layer contains an amine derivative having a fused ring structure represented by general formula (2).
