Zusammenfassung:A computer-implemented method for extracting business intelligence from data stored in a remote database includes providing a smart proxy module configured to run as a background process on a client computing device for interactions with the remote database, and setting up a local cache, on the client computing device, to cache a copy of a dataset stored in the remote database. The method further includes operating a business intelligence tool on the client computing device to extract business intelligence information from the locally cached copy of the dataset.
