Zusammenfassung:A method and apparatus for configuring a virtual network function manager (VNFM) managing a virtual network function (VNF) to access a virtual infrastructure manager (VIM), wherein the VNFM accesses the VIM through an interface, the interface having a VIM interface type, and the VNFM supports multiple VIM interface types. The method includes obtaining by the VNFM information about the VIM interface type supported by the VIM, and accessing the VIM by the VNFM through the interface according to the information about the VIM interface type.
