Zusammenfassung:	A method of processing a contactless transaction includes creating a mesh network having a plurality of proximity interface nodes. Each proximity interface node is configured to communicate, wirelessly, with a proximity enabled mobile device. An area is serviced with proximity connectivity by dividing the area into zones and associating each zone with a corresponding one of the proximity interface nodes. The proximity enabled mobile device is interfaced with the proximity interface node that is co-located in the same zone as the proximity enabled mobile device for communicating transaction information associated with an event in that particular zone. The mesh network is interfaced with a payment network for processing the transaction information during a payment transaction.
