The perforation tool may include one or more firing heads and one or more gun assemblies. The perforation tool may also include a release mechanism coupled to the one or more firing head and the one or more gun assemblies. The release mechanism may release the one or more gun assemblies to a bottom of a wellbore upon firing of the one or more gun assemblies and maintain the one or more firing heads on the perforation tool.
