Zusammenfassung:Provided is an information processing apparatus having an aberration information obtaining unit configured to obtain first aberration information of an image capturing optical system associated with the first pupil region and second aberration information of the image capturing optical system associated with the second pupil region; a calculation unit configured to calculate a first defocus information based on at least one of the first image signal and the second image signal; and a correction unit configured to correct the first defocus information based on the first aberration information and the second aberration information to generate a second defocus information.
