ADVANCED GUM FORMING

Disclosed is a method of forming chewing gum, the method including providing a pair of rollers, sizing the chewing gum from an unshaped mass into a first chewing gum sheet including a first thickness via a first sizing device, the first sizing device being disposed upstream of the pair of rollers, transporting the first chewing gum sheet with the first thickness to the pair of rollers, and maintaining the chewing gum at the first thickness during the transporting between the first sizing device and the pair of rollers, and sizing the first chewing gum sheet into a second chewing gum sheet having a second thickness using the pair of rollers, wherein the first thickness is greater than the second thickness, and the second thickness is between about 0.3 mm to 10 mm.
