The air compressor compresses air in response to rotation of blades of the wind turbine. The apparatus also includes a balloon that lifts the wind turbine and the air compressor off the ground. The apparatus includes a tube that directs the air compressed by the air compressor from the balloon to a receiving unit on the ground.
