Zusammenfassung:	A user station for a bus system and a method for reducing line-conducted emissions in a bus system, in which the user station includes a transceiver for transmitting or receiving a message from at least one additional user station of the bus system via the bus system. In the bus system, exclusive, collision-free access to a bus of the bus system by a user station is at least temporarily ensured. The transceiver includes an emission control device for controlling the properties of the transceiver to reduce line-conducted emissions in the bus system. The transceiver is also configured for switching the emission control device on or off as a function of the arbitration phase and the data area of the message.
