Zusammenfassung:	Techniques for implementing aging compensation for a display are described. An example of an electronic device includes a display comprising pixels, each pixel comprising one or more Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). The electronic device also includes a display aging compensation unit to receive input frame data corresponding to content to be displayed, adjust the input frame data to generate output frame data based on a degree of aging of the LEDs, and send the output frame data to the display. The electronic device also includes a display aging monitoring and compensation processing unit to accumulate aging data that describes the degree of aging of the LEDs. The aging data is to be accumulated by sampling the output frame data at a sampling rate that varies depending on a type of the content to be displayed.
