Zusammenfassung:	Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data transmission method, an apparatus, and a communications system. The present invention relates to the communications field, which can improve transmission performance of a carrier and flexibility in using the carrier. The method includes: when a transmitting apparatus sends data, generating control information corresponding to the data; carrying the control information in a primary carrier and send the control information to a receiving apparatus, carrying, according to the control information, the data in at least one carrier of a second type, and sending the data to the receiving apparatus. The present invention is used for data transmission.
