Zusammenfassung:	A replaceable printer component includes a memory device to store a tag encryption mask and data. The data is stored in a plurality of blocks of the memory device wherein each block is defined by a tag. The tag encryption mask indicates an encryption status of each block of the memory device defined by the tag. The replaceable printer component includes a communication link to communicatively link the memory device to a printer controller when the replaceable printer component is installed in a printing system. The tag encryption mask is stored within a header of the memory device. Each tag defines a type and a length of the data stored in the blocks.
