Zusammenfassung:	A liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus capable of displaying an image at a constant light intensity is provided. The LCD apparatus includes a substrate including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; a plurality of pixel electrodes disposed on the first surface of the substrate; a plurality of light-shielding layers disposed corresponding to first locations between the pixel electrodes; a plurality of light sources corresponding to the light-shielding layers, wherein the light sources are configured to irradiate light onto the second surface of the substrate; and a transparent light guide panel disposed between the light sources and the substrate.
