Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a liquid crystal display including: a display panel which includes a lower panel including a thin film transistor, a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor, and a light blocking member; an upper panel facing the lower panel; and a liquid crystal layer positioned between the lower panel and the upper panel and including liquid crystal molecules. The display panel is a curved display panel which is curved on a first axis. The pixel electrode has long sides and short sides, and the long sides are arranged to be substantially parallel with a second axis perpendicular to the first axis.
