Zusammenfassung:	A piston includes a piston body forming a crown portion and a skirt portion, the crown portion forming a bowl surrounded by a flat crown surface having an annular shape and disposed along a plane, the bowl and the flat crown surface meeting along a rim of the bowl having a generally circular shape. A generally cylindrical surface surrounds the crown portion and forms at least two grooves that define top and bottom land surfaces. The top land surface has a height along a centerline of the piston, and the piston has a nominal outer diameter configured to reciprocally operate within a bore having an inner diameter such that a ratio between the height of the top land surface and the inner diameter of the bore is between 3% and 4.5%.
