Zusammenfassung:A device for configuring a multiphase fluid consisting of at least two immiscible phases on either side of separation surfaces. A chamber to contain a multiphase fluid. A temperature gradient generator to generate a temperature gradient along the chamber to vary the surface tension of the separation surfaces along the chamber and to cause at least one of the phases of the multiphase fluid to move. An extractor to extract the multiphase system. Preferably, the temperature gradient generator includes at least one electrical resistor formed on the surface of the chamber to provide a variable heat density along the wall of the chamber.
