Zusammenfassung:	This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for protecting a display device from moisture ingress. A display device can be formed from two opposing substrates. Moisture-impervious walls can be formed around the perimeters of viewing areas included on the substrates. At least one of the substrates can include a second perimeter wall and a trench defined by the two perimeter walls. The trench can be filled with epoxy, and the substrates can be brought together such that the perimeter walls align and are brought into contact with one another. The epoxy is cured, trapped within the perimeter trench, bonding the substrates to one another and forming a substantially moisture impervious seal.
