Zusammenfassung:A discontinuous transmission method for a base station of a small cell in a heterogeneous network. Depending on the filling state of the buffer or the lifetime of the data, the base station decides to send the data in an element frame or, on the contrary, to enter standby during that frame. In the event it decides to send the data, it ensures beforehand that no base station of an adjacent small cell is in the process of transmitting. Otherwise, it goes into standby for a pseudorandom duration before trying a new transmission of said data.
