Zusammenfassung:	A lithium battery includes a cathode, an anode, and a separator between the cathode and the anode. The cathode includes a first cathode active material layer including a first cathode active material on a first side of a cathode current collector and a second cathode active material layer including a second cathode active material on a second side of the cathode current collector opposite the first side. The anode includes a first anode active material layer including a first anode active material on a first side of an anode current collector and a second anode active material layer including a second anode active material on a second side of the anode current collector opposite the first side. At least one of the first cathode active material layer and the second cathode active material layer includes an ionically polarizable electrode material.
