Zusammenfassung:	A portable roadway warning device includes a core having a plurality of weights embedded in a polymeric material, wherein the weights have a greater density than the polymeric material, and a housing having opposite first and second side surfaces, a leading edge, a trailing edge, and an upper vehicle interface surface. The housing covers the core. The leading and trailing edges define a distance D therebetween, wherein each of the weights has a maximum lengthwise less than ½ D. A first connector member extends outwardly from the first side surface, and a second connector member extends outwardly from the second side surface. An assembly of roadway warning devices, and methods of installing and manufacturing such devices, are also provided.
