A plastic component is affixed on the plastic coating of the flanged cap that forms a plastic layer. A flanged cap for a vessel for accommodating a pharmaceutical substance, particularly a vial, is formed from a metal film layer, wherein the film layer is likewise covered on the outside with a plastic layer that forms a coating on the film layer. A vessel contains a pharmaceutical substance.
