Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a pusher for use in packaging for displaying items for sale. In the preferred embodiment the pusher comprises an extendable member having a plurality of sections which are pivotally connected to each other at at least one pivot point and are configured to provide at least a pair of spaced apart portions. At least one resilient member is positioned about the spaced apart portions to bias them towards each other in a first direction. The biasing of the spaced apart portions towards each other results in an extension of the extendable member in a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction.
