Zusammenfassung:	A lamp with a head freely rotatable above a base is provided. Preferably both the head and base are made of several panels interconnected with hinges. The panels forming the head include a frame with tabs defining a slot for inserts. The inserts are transparent or translucent and bear decorative designs. A low heat highly efficient light bulb is used as a light source. The various elements are preferably shipped in a single box and are arranged and constructed so that they can be readily assembled to form the lamp without any tools required.
