Zusammenfassung:	A homogenizer valve seat member comprising a valve seat plate is disclosed. The valve seat plate has two end surfaces perpendicular to the central axis, and the seat plate has a peripheral seat zone for sitting in a homogenizer housing. The valve seat member comprises a plurality of holes extending axially through the valve seat plate, wherein at least one hole of the plurality of holes forming a continuous mouth edge on one of the end surfaces. The central axis of the valve seat member is positioned outside the mouth edge. A forcer, a homogenization device, and a method for homogenization are also provided.
