Zusammenfassung:	A self-emissive display and manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. In one aspect, the device includes a substrate, a first electrode formed over the substrate, and a pixel defining layer (PDL) formed above at least an end portion of the first electrode, wherein the PDL defines a light emission area and a non-emission area. A light-emitting layer is formed over the first electrode in the light emission area and a second electrode is formed over the light-emitting layer. A protrusion is formed in the PDL in an area over the end portion of the first electrode.
