In the method of searching and collating video files, program information in an electronic program guide (EPG) may be used for searching matching candidate video files, and titles of the candidate video files are reformatted or amended for selection. Some of the candidate video files are integrated to be a complete program, and these candidate video files may be grouped into a channel set for users to watch.
