Zusammenfassung:	Provided herein are medicament delivery systems for selectively providing radial, distal, or a combination radial and distal delivery spray patterns of a medicament, and a method of their use to treat a patient's airway. Generally, a medicament delivery system comprises an elongate shaft, a medicament source, and a means for controlling the delivery spray pattern of the elongate shaft. In use, the medicament delivery system is inserted into a patient's airway during a laryngoscopy procedure to deliver a topical anesthetic to the airway. The medicament delivery device can be used with both direct and indirect view laryngoscopy procedures.
