Zusammenfassung:	A multifunctional plate for protecting a vehicle license plate includes a protection frame which is mounted on a front bumper or a rear side of a vehicle and is protruded from an edge at a suitable height such that a license plate having specific information of the vehicle can be mounted therein, wherein: a protection cover is coupled to the plate so as to prevent a head portion of a license plate-coupling bolt or a seal, which is protruded from a surface of the license plate when the license plate mounted in the plate is fixed to a car body, from coming in contact with another vehicle; and the plate or the protection cover is provided with a lighting means for identifying a number through the direct light upon the license plate when lighted.
