Zusammenfassung:	A resting body support, such as a mattress or an encasement for a resting body support, comprising a sensor layer is disclosed which may incorporate a mattress adjustment system. The system may comprise at least one pressure detection mat comprising a plurality of sensors arranged in a matrix and at least one processor configured to monitor a plurality of pressure values detected by each of said sensors; and at least one active mattress comprising a plurality of cells, the cells being controlled by an inflation control unit that is connected to said processor, and operable to individually adjust the level of inflation of said plurality of cells based on said plurality of pressure values.
