An audio correction method of an audio output apparatus may include receiving a test signal from a terminal device, generating correction filter information of the terminal device based on the received test signal and a standard signal of the terminal device, and in response to an audio signal being received from the terminal device, correcting the received audio signal based on the correction filter information.
