Zusammenfassung:There is provided a method for regenerating a spent dehydrogenation catalyst used in the conversion of n-paraffin to olefin. The method comprises method steps for removing the coke by treating the catalyst with an ozone-oxygen stream followed by an oxygen stream. The catalyst is stabilized by passing a nitrogen stream and the stabilized catalyst is rejuvenated by passing an air-nitrogen stream containing a halogenated hydrocarbon. This is followed by reducing the metal oxide in the catalyst by passing hydrogen-nitrogen stream.
