The overhead infrastructure platform includes a module network formed by the interconnection, through a module interconnection bus, of a controller module, at least one power module and at least one I/O module. Each power module and each input/output module is physically attached to the horizontal support member proximate an equipment rack to which the module is electrically coupled.
