Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method for the continuous production of water-dispersible vinyl polymers, comprising the step of mixing at least a first and a second component and then passing the mixed components through a first delay section, the first component comprising at least one radically polymerizable, hydroxyl group-containing monomer and the second component comprising at least one initiator. The first delay section comprises at least one mixing element selected from the group consisting of static mixing elements and dynamic mixing elements and has a heat transfer rate of 10 kW/(K m3) to 750 k W/(K m3). The invention further concerns a water-dispersible vinyl polymer, obtainable by a method according to the invention, the use of the polymers according to the invention for the manufacturing of coatings, adhesives or sealants and an article coated with a cross-linked polymer according to the invention. |
